Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor (3–5 Years Experience)
 

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering excellence in the construction and development industry? Our Client, a development company is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attends tender briefing and site visits to understand the Projects requirements
• Review tender pricing, understands the project schedule and profit margin 
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Manage tendering processes and procurement strategies.
• Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labour costs used in the tendering process
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
• Review letter of award, work order, contract drawings and documents and to highlight any deviation from the tender
• Conduct cost control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with financial and legal regulations.
• Provide accurate and timely advice on financial implications of decisions.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 3 - 5 years experience in development / construction industry
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction costs, contracts, and standards.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
