Confidential Search: Key Account Manager/Assistant Manager – Modern Trade (MT) & E-Commerce (EC)

A globally recognized FMCG leader known for its iconic brands and market-leading products is seeking a Key Account Manager/Assistant Manager

This role is responsible for developing partnerships with top retail chains and e-commerce platforms, negotiating trade agreements, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring seamless execution of promotional activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across MT and EC channels.

  • Achieve sales targets, market share, and profitability objectives.

  • Strengthen partnerships with key modern trade retailers, marketplaces, and EC platforms.

  • Negotiate annual business plans, JBPs (Joint Business Plans), and trade terms with key accounts.

Account & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade retailers and EC platforms.

  • Work closely with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers to ensure product visibility and availability.

  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend proactive strategies to gain a competitive edge.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for both channels.

  • Prepare periodic reports, presentations, and business reviews for internal stakeholders.

  • Drive data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics and insights.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • 3 to 5 of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, Retail, Consumer Goods, or E-Commerce.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in managing trade spends and ROI-driven marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
